Patriots Pride

Author's Note: This essay is about why I am proud of my country.

One of the best things about our country is that we have the freedom to choose our government and president. We have great sports in our country and great players that play those sports. I love listening to our national anthem because it reminds me of people fighting for our country. I’m also grateful for our military because they are prepared to fight for our freedom. There are many men and women who have left their families to serve in foreign lands. For example, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have lasted for several years. During this time, these soldiers have made many sacrifices for us. They have left families and friends to protect our freedoms. In some cases they have died to keep us safe.

 In addition, this country has great schools for students to get an education and then get a good job in the future. I’m grateful for the jobs we have here in this country so people can have money and live a good life. We have great hospitals so people can get excellent care. I’m also grateful for our country and how we have delivery trucks that transport goods to different places so that we can buy almost anything we want. I’m grateful for the great cars we have to travel around this land. We have great places in this country to have vacations and lots of tourist attractions.      

New Orleans Saints

Author's Note: This is about why I think the New Orleans Saints are the strongest team in the league.

In 2005, New Orleans got hit by hurricane Katrina and destroyed the whole city even the New Orleans Saints stadium. All the people in the city had to move out until it was a cleaned up and even the football team had to leave. I think the New Orleans Saints are the strongest team in the league because what happened to them.

I think that the New Orleans Saints are the strongest team in the league because they had to get out of their city and go some were else when the hurricane went through. It was a really hard time for them. After the hurricane went through a couple years later they won the Super Bowl. That was a really big thing for the city of New Orleans.

Another reason why I think the New Orleans Saints are the strongest team in the league because they have a great quarter back that can get out of pressure and throws very well. Their offense of line is very good at making holes for the running back to run it through.

Another reason that I think the Saints are the strongest team in the league is because their running back because he can hit holes and he is really fast. Their running back is one of the best in the league for how fast he is.

The Saints are the strongest team in the NFL because what happened in 2005 when the hurricane hit. They all had to get out of the city and go some were else. It was a really hard time for them.
